Relevant de la directrice ou du directeur des soins, l’infirmière auxiliaire autorisée ou l’infirmier auxiliaire autorisé (IAA) est responsable de la prestation de soins infirmiers planifiés, centrés sur le patient et axés sur les résultats conformément aux normes de soins provinciales.

Exigences
Certificat d’inscription valide d’infirmière auxiliaire autorisée ou d’infirmier auxiliaire autorisé dans la province pertinente.
Expérience de travail auprès de personnes âgées et de fournisseurs de soins non réglementés, de préférence.
Études et expérience en gérontologie, en réadaptation, en soins communautaires, complexes ou de longue durée (atout).
Solides compétences en communication orale et écrite, en pensée critique, en coordination des soins, en gestion du temps et en orientation client.
Solides connaissances cliniques démontrées.
Certificats en soins immédiats en réanimation et en secourisme.
Compétences en informatique et expérience de travail avec les logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office.
Vérification des antécédents en vue d’un travail auprès de personnes vulnérables valide (réalisée dans les 3 derniers mois).
Maîtrise de l’anglais et du français.
