Job Description 

  • Assessment & Diagnosis: Take medical histories, perform exams, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop evidence-based care plans, order and interpret diagnostics.
  • Prescribing: Prescribe medications within scope.
  • Referrals: Refer patients to specialists as needed.
  • Patient Education: Counsel patients and families on disease prevention, and self-care.
  • Collaboration: Work within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Leadership/Education: May supervise (nursing,) and provide education and program planning.
