Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President, LTC Operations, the Director, Clinical Training and Simulation is a dynamic and experienced clinical education leader that will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of our training agenda and simulation lab programming. This pivotal role supports clinical excellence and staff development across our long-term care operations. We are seeking a Master's-prepared Registered Nurse with a solid foundation in adult education and a passion for hands-on, experiential learning.

Responsibilities:
Design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training programs for clinical staff.
Develop, implement and manage overall clinical education program delivery for the LTC organization.
Identify and manage partnership opportunities for curriculum development and delivery, both internally and with external partners (including vendors).
Requirements:
Master's degree in nursing, Education, or a related field.
Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (or applicable regulatory body).
Minimum 10 years of clinical nursing experience, and 5 years of clinical (preferably clinical education) leadership experience
Completion of the Nurse Educator Certificate from the Canadian Nurse Educators Institute, preferred
Completion of the Clinical Instructor Certificate Course from the Canadian Nurse Educators Institute, preferred
Completion of Simulation Certificate Program from the Canadian Nurse Educators Institute, preferred
Proven experience in adult education, curriculum development, and simulation-based training.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing or mentoring a team.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Proficiency with learning management systems and simulation technology is an asset.
Passion for person-centred care, culture transformation and service excellence
